Horror Stories/Legends about Nigerian Boarding Schools

If you are currently in a boarding school or if you ever have been in one, you might have heard of various horror stories or legends about Nigerian boarding schools. It is mostly told by relatives, friends or even "house parents" to scare the boarding students. Let's get into this, shall we.
One of such legends is that of Madam Koi Koi. This story is mostly told to keep students in bed after lights out. It was said that the woman who was later known as Madam Koi Koi was a very fashionable teacher who always wore red heels and blood red lipstick. Her heels made the "koi koi koi" sound whenever she walked from one class to another. It was also said that she was very mean to students and would beat them for any little reason.

She was hated by a lot of students who wanted to have her sacked. She was later fired after slapping a female student and battered her ear. On her way back home after getting the news of her sack, she was involved in an accident and shortly after, she died. But before she died, she swore that she would avenge the ill done to her.
The affected student was later withdrawn from the school by her parents, but Madam Koi Koi has been searching for her in all boarding schools. She only comes out at night due to the fact that her face had been badly battered during the car accident, being a fashionable person.
Till today this story persists and has gone around several secondary schools in Nigeria. Most people believe this story was spun out to keep students in bed but some other students who are light sleepers swear that they hear the clicking of her heels in the midnight.
Is there really a story about the ghost of a female teacher haunting students or is this a tale made up by teachers to discourage students from wandering about during lights out? What do you think though? Leave a comment in the description. Watch out for a 2nd part of the Horror stories. Thank you. Siralba….
